On June 25th 2009, Michael Jackson "The King of Pop" passed away. Based on this sample of his writing (circa 1995) he was one of the most misunderstood celebrities of our time.
Despite his larger than life celebrity persona, his writing is that of a sensitive, reticent soul with a lack of ego. His self-consciousness was evident in this writing sample and by the time of his death it was magnified and that trait dominated his signature.
Still, he shows self-esteem i.e. belief in himself and his writing demonstrates one who sets the bar high. R.I.P. MJ, I wish your writing showed more joy.
